day 8

We met up this  morning and went as a group to the museum of brands and advertising. I love experiencing London on this trip because If I had been with my mom, for example, we would have never known this little museum even existed! It was really cool to see all the brands from different decades and see the products that people used. The barbies, soaps, boardgames, cereal boxes I mean everything had changed so much from back in the day to more recent times and today! It was really cool to see that. After that we walked around Portobello market, and I found some really cute stuff on that street! There was cute little jewelry stands, a million tshirt stands, and then some little boutiques that I loved going in and seeing what styles they have. We ate lunch after that, well really breakfast, and I ordered “eggy bread” well, that means French toast- which I was unaware of but that’s ok it was really good!! We walked back and met everyone at the tube stop and then traveled to mindshare! Although it was late in the day and we were all having a little trouble keeping our eyes open- I loved today’s presentation, probably even more than Edelman (which is bad because I’m a PR major). I was just really interested in media buying and selling and how they did it! I just got back to the room and me and Rachel are about to travel with Julian and bonnie to go to the England vs. Ireland game! I’m really excited- my dad and brother are addicted to these games and I’ve heard all about it growing up!
